Healed from hurts that prevented me from being the person I wanted to be

Antoinette attended a Little Way Healing of Memories course and writes:

“The memory I needed healing for went back to my childhood when I was about 6 years old. I had an older brother who was very gifted at handball. My father lived for him and the game so I became, to him, only an object, a spectator who watched and cheered my brother on”.

“One day I was playing with my mum in the handball alley and my dad watched for a minute, then said, “You’re no good at the handball Antoinette”, laughing and making a joke of it. I believed what he said, and that negative remark followed me for the rest of my life. During the prayer for healing of memories I realised that this remark, and other similar remarks from teachers and neighbours, had made me feel that I was second-best and couldn’t achieve in the way God wanted me to.”

“It prevented me from being the person that I wanted to be. Due to the prayer and the time I spent on the course I can now thank God that I feel worthwhile. I no longer feel trapped or second-best. I was set free from the old me and reunited with the little girl I had run away from because of these hurtful comments. I thank God and Little Way Healing Ministries for their love and support.”
